She's got a great sense of humor and judgement about how to best work with students, and she effortlessly stays casual and positive while building on language concepts or guiding the conversation in a way that benefits the student. I think this is really important in a teacher. Studying language can sometime feel intimidating, and on days where I felt stressed and busy with work or life, she made it easy and even enjoyable to show up for my Spanish lesson - even when I felt like I wasn't very good, she made it no big deal.
