From the moment Kieran came out to give us a quote it was clear this company were professional and took customer service very seriously, we had no hesitation in getting booked in and price was very reasonable! “An almost* perfectly smooth and straightforward service from start to finish. The online questionnaire and booking process were easy, and Kieran clearly talked me through all the options during the survey. I was kept well-updated between the survey and installation, and the ETA text with a tracking link on the morning of the install was really helpful for planning around meetings. Jamie and Josh arrived around 9:30am, protected the carpets straight away, and worked efficiently throughout. They finished around 1:45pm, tidied everything up, and left no mess at all. I had full loft boarding, a new strip light, additional shelving, removal of an old water tank and old boards, insulation top-up, a larger hatch, and a new Fakro ladder installed—all for a fair price. I’m delighted with the quality of the work, the extra storage space, and the added warmth it’ll bring to the house. *The only downside was that I was sent a link for payment the day before and told it would be immediately taken from my account and that it must be done before the install. I felt uncomfortable about paying in full for the service beforehand, especially as the link came from a different company (ServiceM8) and there were spelling errors in the email. The justification for this was because the money takes 3 days to clear into their bank account - I do not think that this should be a burden that the customer has to take on. The website FAQs also state that they ask for payment after the work is completed. There were enough red flags for me to call to query this, however there was no answer and my voicemail was not responded to. I did not proceed with the payment before the install and there were no issues with the work continuing the following day. I settled the invoice after the work was completed, however this part of the process did make me a little nervous the day beforehand. It could have been clearer and the website FAQs representative of the actual process. This is absolutely not a reflection on the great work carried out though, just a point of potential improvement in customer experience.”
