What customers say

The food at this place is actually insane. I’m from Miami and was visiting Edinburgh for just a few days after a couple months traveling through Europe, and this was a true slice of home (which I hoped for since I was quite homesick at this point!) I actually went back two days in a row because I didn’t want to miss out on trying different foods!! The first day I got a Black Bean & Cheese Empanada, Maduros, and a Pata Sucia sandwich (the name made me crack up, iykyk!) As a vegetarian, I don’t usually see many options in Cuban sandwich places so this was a huge treat. The sandwich was DELICIOUS. Their mojo mayo is spot on and the guava ketchup is truly one of a kind, I was obsessed with it. The maduros were perfect and I loveeeed the empanada, you could tell it was homemade. A lot of places at home just make them from frozen. Second day I got the Yuca Gorda with jackfruit and the Esquites Empanada. Both so delicious and fresh as well. Honestly some of the best fried yuca I’ve had in a while, every piece was crispy and I’ve never had them loaded like that. Still dreaming about this dish (with extra guava ketchup of course.) Overall: I wish this place was in Miami. I’m back home now and I’m reminiscing on a Cuban restaurant from Edinburgh, who would have thought? Also the vibes were so well curated - staff was lovely and I’m from the Grove and was shocked to see a Coconut Groves Arts Festival painting. Literally so cute!!

Delicious! Ordered a Vaca Frita and Cuban Classic both superb but the vaca frita was extra fantastic due to the shoestring fries adding a bit of extra texture. Also love the hot sauce! Has the heat but also has the flavour to give it an extra something something! Will definitely eat again!

Food is absolutely divine! You can tell the chef makes his food with so much love, detail oriented, and creativity. The pollo asado is very unique and fabulous flavour profile. Highly recommend the yuca fries and guava ketchup! We brought our dog with us who was very welcomed and given a wee dog treat.
