“We had an absolutely fantastic evening at Vessel. The food was excellent, atmosphere was great and our waitress made the whole evening. I didn’t get her name (she has a full fringe if that helps?) but honestly good service makes such a difference. She was so nice and gave us a big list of recommendations whilst we were in visiting Edinburgh. For both of us Vessel was our favourite spot for the whole weekend. Great value too.”

“We stumbled into Vessel unplanned on a Sunday afternoon and had a really lovely lunch. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the interior is beautifully done. The chorizo and the whipped feta were good starters, particularly with the feta portion being very generous. The steak frites was perfectly cooked and a great portion size. Would return in a heartbeat!”

“We had food in here by chance after pooping in for a drink. Their pilot beer is amazing and brewed locally in Leith. We decided to eat here after viewing the menu. It is mainly sharing plates on offer which we prefer. There was a great selection of imaginative dishes to choose from, the ones we chose were all terrific, the staff were all very informative and helpful. We would definitely return when we are in Edinburgh again.”
