“Chris is a great guy lovely to chat to and has extensive advice and knowledge to offer. I booked my bike in for a service and to repair my derailer whereby he instantly diagnosed the problem. I also asked to have a couple lights added onto my bike. It feels great with a much better cleaner gear change. It was also a very quick turn around. “What an outstanding experience! I first found Chris on Google having just purchased a second hand cargo bike. I'd been to one of the well known bike places in Edinburgh and they had quoted over £300 for a service (half the value of the bike) and it was going to take 3 weeks. Chris serviced the bike, replaced the grips and tightened everything up for a little over £100... within a few days. Unfortunately, that particular bike wasn't right for us (heavy cargo bike, Edinburgh hills and lack of engine), but we loved the concept. So when it came to replacing it, we asked Chris for some help. He gracefully and knowledgably answered every incessant question I had. In the end we opted for a new cargo bike which Chris helped us import and then built for us. This worked out a lot cheaper than buying UK stock from a retailer and only took a couple of weeks. We took delivery of our new cargo bike yesterday and it's perfect. Chris described the experience of moving from our old bike to the new one as like "going from a mine cart to a rally car" and that's certainly apt. Chris has also said to bring it back to him in a weeks time, and then again in 3 months, just to make sure everything is running correctly. How about that for service!? Couldn't recommend C Cycles and Chris more highly!”
