“Having been ripped off during a service from Arnold Clark, I went about finding a new garage. The other half came across this little shop/garage with bright yellow facia walls tucked halfway up Leith Walk when our car battery died and we had to buy another one. They have a shop that sits on Leith Walk where you can buy lots of car parts and they have a garage at the back of the premises. Pilrig Motors is owned and run by 3 brothers, who have in the 7 years I've been going there, been nothing but helpful and lovely. Thankfully they managed to survive the chaos that was the tram fiasco that shut so much of Leith Walk and sent businesses packing! I have gone there with relatively minor problems that they have been able to fix on the spot and not charged me. They will go out the way to source cheap parts rather than rip off their customers. I (a girl) have never been ripped off by them. My car has been well maintained by them and rarely needed anything done to it - and when it did, it didn't cost anything close to what I had been charged in the past by other garages. If you're looking for a garage in Leith, I would highly recommend them.”
