★★★★★“I did my CBT with A2B and honestly had a great experience. The instructors were friendly, patient, and made the whole day a lot less stressful than I expected. Everything was explained clearly, and they made sure everyone felt confident before moving on. The bikes were in good condition, the training was well organised, and I came away feeling ready to get out on the road safely. You can tell they really care about helping people learn, not just getting you through the test. Would definitely recommend A2B to anyone looking to do their CBT — top team and a really good day overall.”
★★★★★“Booked the CBT for my dad’s 50th and morale support for myself. The team were amazing with supporting us both and building our confidence. The first day we did it we didn’t feel confident enough to go out on the road, but John stayed back with us and continued to build that confidence. They encouraged us to get booked back in and not to give up so that’s exactly what we did. Then today we both came back to try again. The team continued to support us and with Alfys patience and encouragement we got our certificate. Thank you to everyone on the team”
★★★★★“I completed my CBT, Mod 1, and Mod 2 training with A2B. To start on a positive note — my CBT experience with them was absolutely brilliant. It was a full day of learning, well-structured, and the instructors were great. That experience is what made me go back to A2B for my full licence training. However, I have to be honest — when it came to the Mod 1 and Mod 2 stages, the communication really fell short. I constantly found myself being the one reaching out to find out what was happening, rather than the school keeping me updated. It just felt like there was a lack of effort from their side to keep students informed. The day before my Mod 2 test, I turned up at the school expecting my scheduled lesson — I was only going by the date and time stated in the text message I received. When I arrived, I was told I’d come on the wrong day. As a result, my planned 2-hour session turned into a 30-minute one due to no instructor being available. A similar issue happened with the Mod 1 lessons — we only had one session the day before the test, and even the instructor questioned why there hadn’t been more training time scheduled. We were originally told that we’d receive up to 16 hours of training for both Mod 1 and Mod 2, but in reality, we were lucky if we got around 6 hours total. Given the cost, I don’t feel we got our money’s worth in the end. To be clear, I do think A2B is a good school overall — I wouldn’t have gone back to them after my CBT if I wasn’t happy with their service. But I was really disappointed with how poor the communication and organisation were this time around. A bit more structure and consistency would make a huge difference, because they clearly have great instructors and the potential to be excellent. The communication referenced in the review was between myself and the company (A2B), not with Jamie. All messages and updates were exchanged directly between me and A2B.”
