“Our daughter has been learning with EYM over the past three years, and we have nothing but praise for the enthusiasm, professionalism and ability of the tutors. Learning starts away from instruments giving young children the opportunity to gain a firm grasp of rhythm and pitch in a fun environment before moving onto a chosen instrument; recorder in our daughter’s case, which she really enjoys. The classes have just the right combination of flexibility and control needed for each age group and the recommended practice routine (which is very much encouraged) means that improvement is very much in evidence. There are no fast track gimmicks with EYM, just good, solid teaching providing an excellent grounding in notation, technique and ensemble playing.
