What customers say

*Warm, welcoming, and genuinely delicious – a great family experience!* We visited Royal Isori as a family – two adults, our 6-year-old, and our baby – and had an absolutely lovely time. The buffet had such a great variety of freshly made food, and every dish we tried was full of flavour. Even our baby got stuck into the korma and loved it! What really stood out for us was the lamb – possibly the nicest lamb I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly cooked and so tender. There’s something here for all tastes, and it’s a brilliant way to try a mix of dishes. We’re not Muslim (we’re white British), and I want to highlight how genuinely welcoming the atmosphere was. The staff were kind, the place was clean and comfortable, and we never once felt out of place. If you’re not familiar with halal dining or you're just unsure whether it’s “for you” – please don’t hesitate. We were made to feel completely at home. It’s a great example of how food brings people together. We’ll absolutely be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone – especially families looking for something a bit different and very tasty.

Very nice, clean restaurant..I brought my family here while we were on holiday. Its a shame the hotels on that road only recommend the Italian or the Thai to eat. This is great value and is a buffet as well! We only new about it as someone on the highstreet was advertising this place! Ceiling is so sparkly my camera just didnt capture it..

I normally don’t write reviews, especially negative ones, as I don’t like to hurt anyone’s business. However, in this case, I feel I must share my experience. When we arrived at 8:30 most of the dishes were empty. I mentioned this to the staff, and while they tried to refill some items, it was disappointing. The restaurant advertises “100+ dishes” on their menu, but in reality, there were hardly 15–20 available. This immediately gives a very poor impression, and honestly, it makes you want to walk out. Secondly, many food items were either not properly cooked or of low quality. I also raised this with the manager, but nothing was really addressed. Another major issue was with the billing. When it came time to pay, the manager (or the person acting as one—since no staff wore name badges, it was impossible to know who was in charge) simply presented us with a bill of around £180 without asking how many drinks we had actually ordered. He automatically assumed all guests at the table had drinks and charged for seven, when in reality only two people had ordered them. Only after I pointed this out and asked him to verify he send the staff to check how many glasses have drinks he reduce the charge from seven to two drinks. This is not acceptable—staff should confirm drink orders rather than overcharge and wait for the customer to notice. When I paid the bill, the manager did not provide a receipt until I specifically asked for it. After paying, I requested the receipt and noticed that I had also been charged for a child. The situation with children’s charges was equally concerning. I was charged for a child without being asked their age, with the excuse that the child “looked older than three.” This is not a professional approach. Restaurants should either use a height chart or directly ask the parents, not make assumptions. On top of that, there were hardly any options suitable for children—just fries, nuggets, and ice cream. When we visited, even the fries and nuggets were unavailable on whole visit when we enter and when we came out from restaurant after paying the bill. On top of these issues, service was poor due to understaffing. Normally, in buffet restaurants, staff clear plates from tables. Here, no one came, and we were expected to dispose the remaining ourselves. I do want to acknowledge that the one female staff member working was trying her best, but clearly the restaurant is short-staffed and poorly managed.
