★★★★★“Cheap and cheerful. Service wasn’t the best as it was just a young lad who didn’t look overly thrilled to be there. The food was very old school and at a very good price. Love it how it’s open 24 hours. Overall probably not my favourite type of bakery but I am glad that I have been.”
★★★★★“Hi i have been coming to this bakery since I was literally a small child. I havent been in a year had a craving so came along to get some pies. And unfortunately I share the same sentiments as the rest of your low reviews. The prices have been hiked £3 a pie £3+ if its hot so they have invented a warmth tax. The pies taste different not in a good way. And I was disappointed not to see a familiar face. Whoever has taken over this is a fail. You've turned a local legend into another overpriced low quality tourist bakery. Besides drunk people at the end of a night out i dont think this will last long and Im sure many locals have rejected the change. Tourists and students will only go so far. Really disappointing.”
★★★★★“Pies are good but they are definitely not 24/7. They weren't bad in the past (closed once in a while) and I had become reliant on them for a snack when on the run. Don't go much any more as they've been closed for no clear reason 1 out of 3 times I've gone. Door half open. No explanation. No note of when they will open up. Asked ab employer standing at the door what was going on and dint give me any info. Bummer. This used to be a place I'd get pies 3-4 times a week.”
