“I’m deeply disappointed with my experience. After previously receiving treatment from this podiatrist without issue, I was shocked to have my urgent appointment cancelled less than 24 hours beforehand despite my toe being infected and needing prompt care. The day before the cancellation, I had asked reasonable and factual questions about the procedure and recovery process, which he answered clearly. However, the following morning I received a cancellation message stating “I do not feel confident that I can provide a satisfactory result in this case. Please seek out another practitioner.” The message offered no further explanation, leaving me scrambling to find alternative care at short notice. To make matters worse, I later discovered I had been blocked from further contact. While my previous experiences were fine, this behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a healthcare provider. Patients deserve reliable and professional treatment, and unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this clinic. In response to the owner Ian's reply left on this review: Thank you for your reply. While I understand your right to decline work if you feel you cannot achieve a satisfactory result, the cancellation still left me in a difficult and urgent situation, given my infected toe. I had to scramble to find alternative care at short notice. Additionally, the tone of your response feels dismissive of the genuine stress and frustration this caused me, especially with the added step of blocking further contact. I hope this feedback helps you reflect on how situations like this might be handled better in the future.”

“I booker an appointment after being given 2 appointment options via email and spoke on the phone to confirm one of the appointment times from the two choices offered. I turn up on the day of appointment to be dismissed and told my appointment time was different from the one in the email and phone confirmation which I had saved to make sure I had the time correct. For the owner to be dismissive and put the blame on me, I am now left with a wasted morning and no time to go somewhere else as I have to take into account childcare for my son hence why I write down all my appointment times. Very disappointing and wing I had booked with another practice.”
