“I was a bit nervous about deciding to study Mandarin as an additional subject for my Nat 5’s. I had studied Mandarin whilst living abroad for 7 years, but I had had a break and hadn’t studied Mandarin in school on Mandarin for 3 years. My mum spent a while trying to find someone in Scotland who taught Nat 5 Mandarin, because most people seemed to specialise in HSK qualifications. I was really pleased when we found Chang at BK Tutoring as she understood Nat 5 and helped me to study for Nat 5 Mandarin specifically. She understands Nat 5 requirements completely and made sure that I knew all of the syllabus so that I felt confident for my speaking, written and reading. I enjoyed the lessons and often did a little homework in between. Chang was helpful in directing me to additional study materials. I was really pleased to pass my Nat 5 with an ‘A’ and am now studying Higher Mandarin with Chang.
