“A lot of people say the Jinglin' Geordie is an old school boozer that's a bit rough around the edges and that, that I cannot argue with: it is. It's not touristy, as so many other places in the area, but it's also not everyone's cup of tea.. or pint. There's a small backyard, for us smokers, but not all of it covered (it does rain in Scotland. Occasionally.). Drinks are average. Screens show the sport, staff don't bite (and neither do the locals, should you happen to strike up conversation). I normally like these kinds of pubs, and we came in on recommendation. Perhaps you should give it a try, too.”
