“Reiki Master Teacher Training with Maija - A Transformational Journey Participating in Maija’s Reiki Master Teacher training has been a deeply enjoyable and transformative experience. Her grounded and practical approach to teaching Reiki made the entire journey not only accessible but profoundly meaningful. The training unfolded over several months, allowing plenty of time for integration, reflection, and growth. As part of the programme, I had the opportunity to attend and support Maija’s Shoden, Okuden, and Shinpiden courses, which was an invaluable experience that gave me insight into the rhythm and structure of a well-held class, as well as the nuances of student guidance. I learned how to carry out attunements and had the opportunity to co-teach alongside Maija, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment. One of the culminating assignments was to design and deliver a full Shoden course independently, which gave me the confidence and clarity to step into the role of a teacher. Another was the writing of the Shoden, Okuden, and Shinpiden student manuals, which was a powerful way to consolidate and articulate my understanding of the teachings in my own voice. What I appreciated most throughout this journey was Maija’s friendly and practical mentorship. She was always available to meet, to answer questions, to offer encouragement and honest feedback. Her clarity, warmth, and integrity as a teacher created a space where learning felt natural and inspired. This programme didn’t just prepare me to teach Reiki, it deepened my personal practice, sharpened my awareness, and helped me connect more fully with the essence of Reiki as a spiritual path.
