★★★★★“Came in optimistic. Left questioning why I paid £2.50 for confusion. Let’s start with the £2.50 chocolate chip cookie. The taste was completely off. Not burnt, not stale just wrong. Like something in there didn’t belong. For £2.50, that’s ridiculous. You expect comfort, not mystery ingredients. Hot chocolate: absolute rubbish. A solid 1/5. Both of us struggled with it and didn’t finish the cup. Stopped drinking it almost immediately. Thin, weak, and honestly pointless. We ordered one hot chocolate and one latte. The hot chocolate arrived within about 5 minutes. My latte came much later. Awkward doesn’t even cover it. My partner already couldn’t get their drink down because of the taste, then had to sit there while I waited for mine to arrive. Drinks should come together. This is basic café etiquette. When the latte finally showed up, it was… okay. 3/5. Drinkable. Latte art was actually decent, credit where it’s due. Now the seating. Total randomness. Feels like they furnished the place via Facebook Marketplace roulette. No consistency, no flow just random tables and chairs scattered everywhere. Then the dogs. One was on a leash (thank you for doing the bare minimum). The other was just wandering around inside like it owned the coffee shop. I get pets are family, but if you’re bringing dogs into a café, a leash should be non-negotiable. Free-roaming dogs around food tables isn’t quirky. To summarise: £2.50 cookie - taste completely off Hot chocolate - rubbish (1/5, didn’t finish it) Latte - late, but drinkable (3/5) Drink timing - awkward Seating - furniture lottery Dogs - one leashed, one acting like the landlord Definitely not somewhere I’d rush back to. Feels unfinished. Like the café equivalent of “that’ll do”.”
★★★★★“Amazing place with a warm, cosy atmosphere. Fabiano and Polya are always super friendly and welcoming. The coffee is excellent, the pastries are delicious. It’s one of the best spots in Leith!”
★★★★★“Busy, long wait for coffee but food was really good. Coffee wasn’t to my liking and had a ‘unique’ flavour and thin, a bit disappointed”
