“Took my son along for a taster session. The coaches were great and the training was satisfactory. My concern was the player report that come with the "congratulations" email. Notes of interest in the player strengths and weaknesses. Point 1. Strengths: "good levels of concentration". My boy has severe ADHD and was not engaging at all when the coaches were verbally communicating with the group. Point 2. Weaknesses: "lack of strength on the ball and in 1v1 situations". His biggest attribute is his strength and hold up play and that was evident in the session. Why does this bother me? Because the report comes across like a prop to get parents on board, and if the coaches cannot pick up on basic observations then developing the children effectively will be a little difficult. Anyone looking to spend the cash, i would recommend 1 to 1 coaching.”
