★★★★★“Unprofessional clinic, waste of time and money. I went for several visits and then needed a referral for a scan, unfortunately at this point Fasic decided to completely ignore all emails and calls (despite initially saying they would be happy to refer me). I'm now in a situation where I'll have to go to another physio to allow me to progress things.”
★★★★★“After over-training for a half-marathon, the GP recommended I have some physiotherapy for my knee. I called up to get on the NHS physio waiting list, only to find it was a 7-11 week wait! Since the GP had also recommended FASIC and I go to this gym anyway, I booked an appointment and was able to come in within a day or two. When I arrived, the guy at the desk wasn't terribly friendly and I wasn't thrilled they were running late. The physio was nice though and she was gentle in doing her assessment of what was wrong. She also gave me a quick knee massage which was very nice, then gave me some exercises to practice and sent me on my way saying to book an appointment to come in again soon. I didn't feel terribly enlightened about what was wrong and I could have found these recommended knee-strengthening exercises online. Also, the introductory apt was supposed to be 45 min and I was out in 30 min and would have liked a longer apt for my £36. Overall I was underwhelmed and decided to wait for my free NHS apt to come up so haven't been back again thus far. It's nice to know FASIC here, though, when really in need.”
★★★★★“A waste of time and money. This place advertises itself as a clinic specializing in sport injuries but is far from being one. I am an amateur athlete and visited a podiatrist due to an ankle injury. The website lists two qualified (some 20 years of experience) doctors as the staff, giving an impression that you will be visiting one of them. The reality was that I was assigned to some young fella with not too much knowledge. He couldn't provide any sensible diagnosis of my injury, didn't offer any sensible treatment plan (obviously, not possible without a diagnosis) and didn't tell me anything I wouldn't already know from Google (sic!). Also, FASIC webpage says: "A comprehensive assessment of standing posture, walking/running patterns (gait), joint movement and muscle function is carried out to achieve a diagnosis from which an individual treatment plan is created." I definitely didn't have a comprehensive assessment of posture, gait and muscle function, just some ankle mobility test. The whole visit was a complete failure and a large disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.”
