“Really great food, service and staff. We had the prawn toast, crispy seaweed, chicken curry roll, crispy honey chilli beef, chef’s special beef noodles and lovely bottle of Chardonnay. Great prices, lovely staff and the food was fresh, hot and really tasty. Not greasy and bland like so many Chinese places - we had takeaway from here once and was so good we went to sit in. Highly recommend it.”

“Absolutely brilliant experience with The Auld Hoose Chinese Restaurant! We ordered a takeaway and were blown away by the quality. The King Prawn in Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce was immaculate—fresh, massive prawns and a sauce that was perfectly balanced. We also tried the Salt and Chilli Spare Ribs and the Crispy Honey Chilli Beef, both of which were piping hot and full of flavour. The portions are very generous, and the delivery was surprisingly quick and professional. It’s clearly a family-run gem that takes real pride in its food.
