“Immaculate shop, containing a tremendously impressive selection. Liquorice that I purchased was of average to good quality. I also purchased three bags of their own quite expensive tablet, 'just freshly made', the rather curt and unhelpful lady claimed. It certainly looked the part, but upon getting home and tasting it, this was a real let down. Proper tablet should be crumbly in texture and crisp to the bite, with the distinct flavour of high quality condensed milk, from which it is made. This tablet was soft and gooey and was just like any old fudge, in both taste and texture. Overall, not recommended, I'm sad to say.”

“If you have a sweet tooth this is the shop for you. There is a huge selection in this shop you are best to try and take your time. I like bonbons, spearmint, liquorice etc. I was later in the day so the shop was quieter. As with all these shops there was some local tablet. I enjoyed my visit and I bought a few sweets to take away.”

“I am shocked by the poor customer service we received here on Christmas Eve. The staff member actually told off my 6-year-old just for pointing at some lollipops, then rudely warned me that I would have to pay for the display if it fell. First of all, my child was only pointing and was not pulling at the products. Second, this was just a standard, cheap plastic Chupa Chups holder like the ones found in any normal newsagent or grocery store, not some expensive or fragile fixture. To treat a child this way in a sweet shop, especially on Christmas Eve, is completely unacceptable. If you are that afraid of "little customers" looking at sweets, you are in the wrong business. I suggest some urgent customer service training. I will never recommend this shop to anyone visiting the area.”
