What customers say
★★★★★“Good atmosphere, short-staffed, so a long wait before they come to serve you. The soup, potato, and smoked salmon were great. I ordered a cocktail called Rusty Nails, whiskey-based and with flavours that actually remind you of something old and rusty, my fault for not expecting that, and I was kinda disgusted, not their fault as they made something that lives very much up to its name, but be very prepared if you want to try it.”
★★★★★“From start to finish, it was one of our most excellent experience in Edinburgh. After the royal yacht exhibition, it was the cherry on top to rest and reenergize in this fabulous place, looking at the sea view, knowing that we are still on the royal yacht. The atmosphere was so calming, that even this would have been enough, but the food and drink that we received transcended all of my expectations. I really felt like a queen being served the best quality pick me up afternoon lunch, coffee, and afternoon tea. We aren't tea kind of people, but this black chai that was served for us blown us away. Now we have a different understanding about tea making. Everything was served in the most elegant way, even the queen wouldn't have found any fault in it, and she would have had the best time here. It was also my first time trying out british scones, and I'm so delighted that they served me my first, because now I get to have standards for all other scones. The cream, the berry preserves was fantastic with it. Premium quality. This place remains my top experience from our Edinburgh trip. Thank you.”
★★★★★“The tea room is the perfect end to a visit to the Britannia. It is a delightful place, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The products are delicious and there is an extremely wide choice, ranging from many varieties of tea to sweets and traditional Scottish dishes. The staff are very friendly and further enhance the on-board experience. A visit is highly recommended.”
