★★★★★“What a fantastic experience! One of the best restaurants we have tried in Edinburgh. Everything we had was so delicious and the service was so friendly. We tried the meat and fish platters and a separate monkfish dish - we were so impressed by the combination of flavours. They even make their own bread fresh every day. I totally recommend this place!”
★★★★★“If you haven't been to Bistro Coco, you are missing out on the best meal of your life, and this is coming from the pickiest eater. I have been a loyal customer every time I came down to Edinburgh, even if I'm here for only a couple of hours. It's always a local must-visit for us. I love everything about what Max and Charlie have built with Bistro Coco: the atmosphere, the décor, the drink pairings, the lovely staff, the generosity, and first and foremost the food taste, which is out of this world! Who even cares what pretentious reviewers say? Just go in and try the food! At the end of the day that's all that matters. Everyone can LLM their way around a fancy-worded review, but few can craft a meal like Max and the team. The best review is when you can't even get up from the chair after finishing, and you'd still somehow eat more. So if you truly want to have a good time and a great meal, look no further: just visit the lovely Bistro Coco and try anything on the menu, you will not be disappointed!”
★★★★★“Thia is by far the best French restaurant we have been to in Edinburgh. Firstly the restaurant is small, but there are not too many tables that you feel cramped. There is French music playing which adds to the atmosphere and it is not too loud. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, attentive and explained every dish to us when it was served. And the food, wow, absolutely amazing. The 'french onion soup' was moreish and delicious. The lamb rack was moist, tender, well seasoned and paired with a tasty sauce. The venison dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with delicious potato dauphnoise. The chocolate hazelnut dessert is decadent but balanced, and not too sweet. The meat/seafood platters look amazing too so we will definitely come back to try this. We booked a table so definitely recommend others to do the same.”
