“Avoid!! As a first time buyer I had a horrible experience with both the mortgage advisor and solicitor in the Elm Row Office whilst buying my flat last year. My solicitor left the company half way through the process and I wasn't informed. I was constantly having to chase things that weren't being done as well as being told things at one stage and then being told something else later (and told I was wrong to believe the first thing - recommend keeping everything documented in emails!). The mortgage advisor kept blaming others in his team, and only really seemed interested in selling vitality life insurance.”

They vastly undersold my old flat - they pressured me to accept the first offer that came along, despite the fact it was a low offer and I owned an incredible flat. Their manner was unprofessional - went I wavered on accepting the bid, they became upset and told me I needed to accept it straight away. When it came to buying a flat, they were just as poor - pressuring me to place bids / up my bids for properties I didn't even want. They refused to listen to my preferences and concerns, and it was clear they just wanted me to hurry up and buy something. These transactions had huge repercussions for me, and it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I regret letting myself be swayed by this company. I was just a number to them, and all they wanted was the commission from the sale & the purchase no matter what. Stay well away.”
