“Purchased fire through Flames in Haddington not realising Fire Group was the company processing the order. Ordered fire mid-November with expected install by Mid-Jan. They take half the money up front. Late Jan, I got a call from the Fire Group asking if their installer had been in touch yet (he had, in December). They advised fire was now delivered and wanted the remaining balance. They took another 2 weeks to contact their installer, gave me a date for another month, cancelled for family emergency, no further contact until I reluctantly chased 2 weeks later(thinking family emergency must have been serious), to find their, apparently, only installer was on holiday for 2 weeks. Eventually given a date for install in mid- April, 6 months after ordering and paying half, almost 3 months after paying in full and after the coldest weather was over so haven't had the opportunity to use it much. Little communication between Flames, Fire Group and their installer. I had to chase several times, they even asked me on one occasion to contact them again when their installer had been in touch. Didn't seem to care about the customer. I wouldn't recommend or use again.”

The price was very reasonable and the whole team were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. The installers Darren and Cammy deserve a special mention; they were extremely professional - they arrived on time, worked efficiently and left everything clean and tidy. Delighted with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.”
