“Such a great place overall, and I would happily give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the karaoke host. Every time I’ve visited and put my name down (including when I’m with friends), we never seem to get picked. It genuinely feels like certain people are being prioritised, as the same individuals are chosen repeatedly while we are consistently skipped. This has happened on multiple occasions, so it no longer feels like a one-off mistake. When we’ve asked about it, we’re told the host is “going down the list,” but it’s very clear that isn’t the case. Our songs are on the system, I’ve used the same karaoke system before and know the tracks we’re requesting are definitely available, yet we’re still overlooked. It’s becoming frustrating and takes away from what is otherwise a really enjoyable atmosphere. If the host simply went in order of the list rather than appearing to pick favourites, this would easily be a 5-star experience.”

“Went on a Thursday with a group. There's 4starters and 4mains to choose from and puddings available. Big portions well cooked. Simple pub grub and worth the price. Great service - friendly and attentive. Beers and wines available at the bar. Nice atmosphere and it was busy so best to book.”
