“Go to dressage competitions here, lovely place with great facilities, portaloo toilet, food stall, usually plenty of parking, though sometimes you need to drive down a very steep hill into a grass field to park if main carpark is full, which isn't ideal with a trailer! One issue I have is warm up ring is now right next to ring where you are competing. My friend and her daughter's horses both managed to duck out the ring....one resulting in my friend falling off....as the dressage arena has boards all the way round apart from where you enter....to make it safer a steward show move and replace the board once your in arena. Be much better if warm up wasn't next to competition arena. You are trying to do test with possibly 10 other horses warming up right next to you. Makes it hard for horses to concentrate, especially young or inexperienced horses.”
