“First time visiting and had a takeaway. Great deal with 20% off a £25 spend. I have to say that the veg pakora with the classic pink sauce was perfect, and a huge portion. The spiced ones were the best I have tasted and the roasted poppadom was delicious...much tastier than regular fried ones. My main course of chicken tikka chasni was tasty. Plenty of vibrant sauce, maybe not quite so much chicken, but it was enough. While the meal was good, I felt it maybe lacked a little depth of flavour and reminded me of condensed tomato soup for some reason. That said, I scoffed the lot! The rice was cooked well, but had a wee aniseed taste which isn't my favourite. Peshwari naan was a good, big size, but was a little "sweaty" and the sweet filling inside was a little lacking in flavour. Really glad to have tried Darbar Heights and I hope it remains as a staple on the Hamiltion Indian restaurant scene. Will be back. Thanks to the team.”
