“We visited The Forresters tonight for a 30th birthday meal and with a group of 24 of us on Valentine’s Day it could have easily been overwhelming but the team handled everything perfectly! We had pre ordered most of our meals so the chef could be prepared although a few people placed their orders on the day. Despite this all of the food came out promptly and at the same time which was really impressive given the size of our group and how busy the evening was. The drinks were constantly topped up the food was absolutely amazing as always and every member of staff was super friendly and made us feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble. We’ve visited several times before and have never had a bad meal and tonight just confirmed why we keep coming back. Highly recommend!”

“What an excellent find!! We were looking for somewhere to eat on our way back from Edinburgh and gave this place a try. The whole experience was faultless from start to finish, the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely excellent (and really good value) and the beer was marvelous as well. Highly recommended and will definitely be using this place again. We had the Scotsman burger (Angus burger with black pudding& haggis) Mac& cheese, steak& ale pie. We also saw another table having the cocktail tower which looked REALLY impressive and tempting 😁”
