“I would say I had a truly positive, grounding and life-affirming experience last weekend when I went through my first shamanic healing. I had met Susan on one occasion previously and I explained my situation relating to buried sadness related to grief. I have had mild to moderate depression for several years. I have tried to manage this by various means - pharmacologically, through psychotherapy and also alternatively. Some of these approaches helped to an extent but I felt I was denying my spirituality.
