“Leith Makers hosted my first solo art exhibition, Scatter. My work combines digital and traditional photography, mixed media, video and installation to show my strong interest in creative expression born from trying to understand loss following the death of my daughter Rebecca. Leith Makers was the perfect space for my exhibition. It isn't a white cube but is quirky and is stuffed full of character. I received lots of positive feedback. The staff are knowledgable and super helpful when planning and setting up exhibition, arranging opening night and providing assistance when constructing the exhibition and when taking it back down. More than this, they are interested in the artists who use this space for selling, the studio space for creating new works and for exhibitions. They helped make my exhibition a brilliant experience. I cannot praise them enough and would happily recommend this space for other artists looking to show their work.”
