What customers say

On Sunday, September 8th, I booked a service for my Riese and Müller Packster 70 and was given an appointment for Wednesday, September 18th. I was asked to drop off my cargo bike at the store the evening before so that the mechanic could start working on it first thing the next morning. I brought in my bike as requested, after 5 pm. However, upon arrival, I noticed that both mechanics seemed unfamiliar with the model of my cargo bike, its components, the tasks they would need to perform, or even the gear system it uses. I inquired whether they were experienced in working with Riese and Müller bikes, or specifically with this model, and unfortunately, their response was that they were not familiar with it. They did mention that I would require a "Gold Service," which would cost £175, as it would likely take around 4 hours of work. Given that they acknowledged a lack of familiarity with the bike, I respectfully questioned what this service would entail. At that point, I decided it would be best to take the bike home, as I felt it wasn’t in the best hands, especially considering its value of over £8,500. I had chosen this workshop based on its listing as an official "Service point" on the Riese and Müller website, but I was disappointed to find that the staff did not seem adequately equipped to handle this particular brand. While I appreciate their honesty, I believe it’s important for any service point to have the necessary knowledge and experience to provide the expected level of care, especially for premium bikes like Riese and Müller. In this case, I would recommend future customers verify the specific expertise of the workshop with the brand before proceeding with service appointments.

As a lifelong cyclist and patron of dozens of bike shops, I was genuinely surprised at how terribly Tiso have treated my son. They sent with the bike a checklist of components which had been tightened; one of the nuts in this list came off within the warranty period and they tried to say its not their fault because it didn't fall off sooner.... how do they know how much he's ridden the bike??

Assembly issues with bike, and mechanical component failure within the 2 year warranty period; the pedal came off as I was cycling in a busy road. I reported the accident and was well within warranty when it happened. Tiso used false claims about dates to refuse my warranty, I pointed this out on 1st August and today received the attached reply. I've attached my repair receipt (proving it's within 2 years) and one of the broken parts.
