“If I could give them 0 stars I would Avoid This Company at All Costs - Unacceptable Cancellation Process and Customer Service My experience with Diet Chef has been a complete nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. I followed the correct procedure to cancel my subscription through contacting them immedietly within the cooling off period and through cancelling payments through my PayPal account. As a result, PayPal successfully blocked all future payment attempts from Diet Chef. However, despite my cancellation being confirmed by my financial provider, the company's customer service has been completely unhelpful. They sent repeated demands for a "conversion payment" and refused to acknowledge that I had successfully cancelled the payment authority on my end. After a lengthy and incredibly frustrating back-and-forth, their "final response" was a template message insisting they would not process my cancellation unless I paid them a fee. This behavior is completely unacceptable. A company's terms and conditions should not override a consumer's right to cancel a pre-approved payment. It is a cynical and deceptive practice to hold a customer's account hostage while repeatedly attempting to take money they are no longer authorised to. I have successfully reported them to Consumer Advice Scotland who have escalated the matter to Trading standards and I have now had to escalate my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. My advice to anyone considering Diet Chef is to look elsewhere. Save yourself the stress, anxiety, and wasted time. The food is mediocre and you can get a lot better elsewhere. Marks and spencers have great low calories and portion controlled options, just go there.”

“Cant give it zero stars.Food is terrible. They have a 14 day return policy,but I overlooked something ,you eat more than,1 days food you have to keep the lot. Should, have known better but need to lose weight and they are the only ones who deliver to where I live. Avoid im out £350 because they also add £90 if you cancel,I'll be throwing more than half the food and snacks out. Avoid like the plague.”

“Loving all the meals I’ve tried so far and makes healthy eating so much easier when I can just pop in the microwave! My favourites are the coconut chicken curry and lasagne! The snacks make a nice treat too!”
