As a parent of a child with SM it can be really difficult, but Anna is wonderful at supporting the parents and empowering you to feel you can help your child. As she says - you are the expert of your child. And through her teachings, I learnt the confidence to navigate the journey with teachers, family members, and other people. She has a real passion for this subject that goes far beyond the scope of it just being a job for her. She pulls information from many different fields, and is obviously constantly learning and adapting her teaching method to incorporate new information and advances. I have worked with her for a number of years, and it has been very interesting to learn about the role the mind plays, and the body. Learning all about neuroplasticity and primitive reflexes, and SSP. Her methods give you hope that you can help your child. But also help you to accept your child as they are, and not push too much. “We purchased Anna's course which we found so helpful and following the strategies and advice, our daughter made lots and lots of progress. The masterclasses are also really helpful, as you get to share wins and struggles with other parents and carers going through the same thing. We also did the SSP programme with Anna which was amazing for our daughter and she went from not talking in her classroom to being told to stop talking so much. Anna has a warm and calm approach and having been through this herself, is the perfect person to guide and help. Whilst our daughter's SM isn't cured, she has made significant progress using Anna's method :)”

“We attended the Awesome Powers academy course that was ran by Anna and Jo. I think the course was about 6 weeks long, once a week a live zoom session. Anna and Jo are very welcoming and professional. There was never any pressure for cameras to be on or voices to be heard. From around the second lesson my daughter put her camera on which shows just how comfortable she felt. Anna and Jo didnt make a big deal about it which was amazing. We really saw small progress steps and we carry on continuing our journey. We completed activities and exercises throughout on the session and away from the sessions. Anna has reached out since the course which is lovely. Both Anna and Jo are really lovely people and made us feel welcomed and at ease. I wouldn't hesitate to attend another course with them and recommend it to others.”
