I rented my flat out through Accommodate Edinburgh for 8 years and both myself and my two sets of tenants were very satisfied by their management. I recommended them to other friends too. I have found them to be personable, prompt, helpful and efficient. I liked using a smaller company rather than getting lost in the multitudes of a larger company. Having moved away from Edinburgh I always felt like my flat was in good hands. Thank you!

The ABSOLUTE worst letting agents I've ever dealt with. Unprofessional, disorganised and it's like pulling teeth to get any kind of response. The flat (shared with one other person) was disgusting when we moved in (we spent a full day cleaning), there were lights that weren't working, the door to the hot water system (in our bedroom) would not close the former tenant's mattress was still in the middle of the living room. We were told of course these things would be fixed and the mattress was removed (after prompting from us), but nothing else was done. We signed a month-to-month contract and paid 6 months rent up front plus a deposit to secure the property and were told that it would be up to us to find a replacement tenant if and when we decided to move out. They made out like the financial responsibility would fall on us to keep paying rent until a new tenant was found. We knew this was incorrect and we kept in mind not to trust anything else they said. We decided to leave after 5 months. Sent them emails and called several times to let them know, all of which went unanswered. Finally got a response two weeks later and I asked them to confirm when we would receive our refunds and leftover rent, which took another few emails to actually get a straight answer. They told us that we would receive our refunds (deposit + final month of rent) within 30 days of our move out date. As we did not trust them to honour this, we sent a courtesy email in the days leading up to the 30 day period to remind them. Our deposit was returned (a day late) but they conveniently forgot about the final month's rent that we were owed out of our advance payment. When I emailed them to ask about this, I was informed that our deposit was already returned to us. Exasperated, I bombarded them with emails and phone calls, complained about the lack of communication which was met with the response that they get a lot of emails every day and respond when they can. Then, just like that, the rest of our refund was returned. If it was so easy, why wasn't it just done in the time frame stipulated?? I'm just relieved we got our money back. I ignored the bad reviews because they seemed nice, but I can't stress this enough: AVOID.

I am a current tenant with this agency and I must say the staff are friendly, approachable and very attentive. We had a few hot water issues and the staff were quick to respond to our calls and sent a plumber out asap for us. Carol and Jo were great at keeping us in the loop and I am quite happy with the services they provide.
