“I prefer not to use ubers for my own personal preferences and always wanted to support local businesses. Even though it has been challenging to obtain a taxi these day when phoning to book that’s when I heard about abbey cabs. Abbey cabs were mentioned to be when I was stuck getting home one evening and to my surprise it was sorted within ten minutes and abbey cabs has never failed me yet trying their best to make your booking. I’ve sat on a weekend from as early as 19:30 desperate to get home being told by many well known taxi companies to try again in few hours no suggestions or other recommendations to other company. In light of this another taxi firm advised me to call abbey cabs and thank goodness they did. I got home that night before 20:30 by a lovely super friendly gentleman. Who I have since used their services and they always do their best to accommodate your journey. When a journey is not possible, honest and straight up information is given you will be told straight away if they cannot accommodate your journey. Recently I phoned another local company who couldn’t provide my booking request who actually suggest abbey cabs and right away I was given prompt response and a taxi outside, despite their demanding busy schedule. i would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a reliable and honest taxi company that is respected and will do their best to accommodate if you communicate effectively back. So keep doing what you’re doing guys…always five star service ⭐️ Special mention to the afternoon driver on the 8th November myself and 5 others waited two hours phoning taxi companies then tried abbey cab's and after a quick phonecall he was outside. Even though a few of my friends were running late when he was outside. The minute we got it he was so patient ,understanding and friendly and would not take no for an answer when offered a tip which he deserved. Unfortunately we can’t remember his name but it was the 8th of November during the day. We would love to use your taxi services again drivers are fab as are the phone operators so please reward them as they are fantastic thanks again :)”
