Friendlies Chinese Food Takeaway

“Chinese is my least favourite British takeaway and this is another example of why. The food didn’t taste bad but it leaves you feeling bad. I always regret having a Chinese as all the salt, sugar, oils, chemicals and god knows what else they put in it makes you feel yuck!! Don’t get me wrong some of the dishes taste nice but the dry mouth and bloating you get afterwards isn’t worth it. This Chinese isn’t as greasy as some I’ve had before. I enjoyed the ribs and it had a good amount of meat on the bone, and my wife liked her chicken fried rice and curry sauce. The wings were okay but were drowned in sauce. The chicken balls were very ultra processed, tasting as you’d expect. The noodles were fine. I feel that the cost of takeaways are approaching dine-in restaurants rates and this is no exception. 3 stars is very generous. I’ve rated this highly because the food is what you expect. I feel sorry for the people that have a Chinese takeaway regularly. A recipe for poor health.”

“Ordered a Kung Po Chicken & Chicken and Black Bean sauce. One portion of fried rice. When we opened the containers we both thought that doesn't look good. In fact the Chicken didn't taste like Chicken and the sauces were tasteless. Only good thing was the 2 plastic containers. Overall a garbage meal and that's where it went, food recycling. Will never go back as a result of their atrocious attempt at cooking two Chinese dishes.🤮🤮”

“This is a great chinese, the staff are all fab too! It would benefit from getting a card machine instead of always having to have cash. Im not sure why chinese take aways always want cash? Maybe something to think about ?”
