“This pharmacy was recently run by a well known company who clearly wanted out of the market. Service was abysmal. It was taken over a year or a bit more back by what looks to be a family business. They’ve just moved to the old RBS premises which were a blight on the high street. Obviously, the new owners are still settling in but it’s so nice to see the old bank property looking good. As for the new pharmacist and his staff. I can’t praise them enough. They’re efficient, polite, great service and I wish them all the best. I know a lot of Newtongrange customers left when the previous incumbents were there but the Newtongrange people should support local businesses such as this. The owner is a lovely guy to chat to and goes out his way to help, as do his knowledgeable and pleasant staff.”
