“Totally disappointed in this new facility, which is to serve the whole of East Lothian! The crematorium is way too small. 112 seats is ridiculous and definitely is not enough. Most funerals I've been to lately have been well attended which majes ne wonder why this building was not made larger? Even Warriston Crem in Edinburgh has a 200 seating capacity. We were at a young boys funeral today and so many of us had to stand outside. Luckily it wasn't raining and/bowing a hoolie as its a very open space. We were frozen tho! I really felt for some of the older people there. The sound outside wasn't loud enough for us all to hear (especially if you're hard of hearing) and the screen on wall outside the view the service, in my opinion, wasn't big enough and it was blocked by pillars for some. The car parking spaces are very tight and I drive a small vehicle. Not good with all those SUVs on the roads. Why the crem and carpark are so small with all the space around it is just questionable? The westerleigh Gp surely could have spent more on a bigger facility??”

“A wonderful service in a beautiful building but sadly not enough seats so lots if people standing in lobby. Also, the car park was absolute carnage afterwards with cars parked illegally left right and centre as there are simply not enough spaces as services run back to back so it would need at least 200 or more spaces as each funeral could easily have 100 people attending. It was difficult to drive out because of this.”
