“Appalling. Very likely a corrupt test centre. It was a grumpy man at 40’s saying he does overtime job during Saturdays, medium build, cold and descending, no small talk, which was not a prob tbh. But First thing he said after the driving was if I had a driving instructor in the area (I have one in the north England)… Came across a lady honking the ppl following me into the roundabout, but he took it as towards me and marked one major. ( I tried to argue but the ancient system makes the result entirely determined by the instructor, you can appeal but won’t change anyway). What’s most unacceptable was that he made up an overspeed - saying I was driving at 37 when it meant to be 30, and marked it as a minor?? Given that the speed is one of the few things the driver can control (you can’t control a honking lady), and he was using a sat nav which was very accurate, i was aware of my driving limit all the time - MY CAMERA RECORDED. Well, abusing power does make some ppl’s life more enjoyable, and once initiated it turns into a pattern. As you can see from other comments, there are some ppl here who just want to fail you, maybe because I don’t have an instructor here???? Maybe the weather, maybe your ethnicity your gender, any thing… If you do want to take the test here, make sure you have an instructor ‘here’, and install camera in the car even tho you won’t be able to change the results by appealing(At least you have the proof to share) If you wanna pass and make your life easier, avoid this place.”
