“One of my first and last stops each visit to Edinburgh, John Kay's Shop never fails me to have the most interesting books, fabulous antique prints, and other bibs and bobs of the high quality and unusual nature. This trip, I grabbed an unusual title from Tolkien's oeuvre, an antique pen and ink of Holyroodhouse, and a commonly available version of Dicken's Christmas tales (but my loyalty is to this shop and my pounds Sterling were spent there). The shop always has the best service. The staff are always so engaging and interesting. A must visit when in Edinburgh.”
