“My husband and I had a plan to refurbish our rental 2 bedroom flat for our son when he moved to study in Edinburgh. We had no contacts with any contractors and wondered where we should start when we don't live there. However, by searching on Google for interior designers based in Edinburgh we found many. We looked through all to find the designer who would best match with our son's tastes and style. Magda came first after he browsed her portfolios. We liked the way she cared so much about his requirements, needs and how he imagined himself to live in this place. She made a proposal, sent pictures for inspirations, and gave a lot of wonderful ideas. The best of all was she had a team of contractors who could do everything my project ever needed from builder & joiner, plumber and electrician. They did excellent bespoke desk, cupboard, and shelves. The end result was a transformation from tired old place to an amazing professional residence for our son who loves composing music with all his instruments displaying beautifully on the wall. The spotlights and LED strips added the Jazz vibe in the main living and dining room. Though we weren't there most of the time when the work was carried out by her team but we had no worries at all because she was very good at keeping in touch to inform us every stage they progressed through. Magda is also a lovely woman herself which helped us feel at ease when hiring her to manage the whole project for us remotely. We showed the place to our friends and they all admired how beautiful it looked. We definitely want her back for our next project.
