We bought an old guesthouse off auction while living in America, just before we moved back. Gordon was amazing. He had such great ideas on how to turn it into a practical family home. We completely changed the location of the kitchen and changed/moved/removed several walls and rooms. Over FaceTime, he walked us through options and ideas, providing excellent advice every step of the way. His ideas increased the value of the property. He arranged all the paperwork and permits so when we arrived we were able to start immediate works on the property. He took us through the entire project. When we realised that house wouldn’t be our forever home, Gordon advised us on other properties and potential problems and pitfalls. We ended up finding the perfect house which indeed needed another layout change. Our first call was to Gordon and in true form, he provided various options and suggestions which we never thought of. He is practical and understood the practicality of budget constraints and ideal design. He thoughtfully advised us of which things would be best to prioritise, and, most importantly, what would make the house most practical for us and how we live our lives.
