“First visit on recommendation of family. Having spent many yrs for month's at a time in Spain, expectations were low. Well it was a fabulous meal, as good as anything in Spain. The croquetas 10/10, Burrata salad with ham on a bed of rocket and pesto 10/10. Their olive oil, the best. The service by a young lady called Meg was superb.Totally knocked over, cannot wait to go back and try other dishes. Wonder what I am doing tomorrow.”

“I am not a fan. Its mainly overpriced and the food is average. The papas bravas were ok priced and well served, but not to my taste. The pan con tomate was well priced and had a super large serving, but you could only taste the olive oil, completely unbalanced flavour profile (a bit of a theme here). The pimientos padrón were good but tiny and extremely overpriced for one of the easiest making tapas in the world. The Pulpo was a joke. One tiny leg full of condiments and some sliced tatties. We are talking 6-7x mark up, and I could barely taste the pulpo anyway. Environment is just not my taste, feels a bit confused and disjointed with too many raferences and borderline tourist trappy with those cringy server tartans, tacky Spanish rock and somewhat distasteful/uninteresting decor. It looks a lot better from the outside. Service is fast but not personable at all, they seem to be just there. Last but not least, for 30 quid I would not complain, but on the 45 mark for 4 tapas and a pint, and holding a 4.7 grading on Google I expected A LOT better. This is not bad, its just mediocre and over priced. I cant recommend.”

Everything was perfect - the food, the atmosphere, and the service. It was easily the best tapas I’ve ever had, and I’ll definitely be back soon.
