“Visited for the first time last Friday night and was really impressed. Booked a table for 7.15pm: just as well because it was busy. Service was great. All staff were very friendly and attentive, keen to ensure that everything was ok. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back: can see this being our regular for Friday night curry. Only downside was the harsh lighting.”

“I’ve visited a couple of times and had mixed experiences, though the food has been excellent on both occasions. The first visit was a Saturday evening in the restaurant with great service, great food. I found it a bit strange having karaoke on in the bar. The second visit was on a Friday night and despite booking the restaurant area via Google Maps, we were seated in the bar area where the music was very loud and the service was slow to start. I would still return if the points mentioned are addressed, because the food is very good.”

“I visited Bombay Lounge on the 7th of March with my partner, overall the experience wasn’t up to the standard I had experienced before there. Immediately I felt that we were treated differently due to being a younger couple, the service lacked much care - wasn’t asked about how we found our food; just given the bill without a goodbye. Unfortunately the food was also pretty awful, the best part was probably the popadoms. Me and my boyfriend both ordered the same, two chicken tikkas and two garlic naans and shared a rice. The naans were burnt and crisp, so didn’t have much taste other than the char. The tikka curry didn’t taste like it usually would, more of a tomato base than usual. I hate being the person to complain but I was inevitably disappointed by the experience at Bombay Lounge.”
