“Friendly, professional, efficient service. Very knowledgeable and patient and offered advice about how to obtain the best quality prints of photographs. Turned around printing some A4 size photographs, a 10-page Canva-designed document and printed number of other pages of photographs within a matter of hours. That included the A4 photographs having to be done off-site somewhere else in Edinburgh and then delivered to the shop. Would highly recommend and prices very reasonable. “Rude, unprofessional, avoid at all costs. As others highlight in here go to CopyShop in town, they are proper lovely pros. I popped in to request two small sets of flyers be printed at different sizes with the scope and timeline in mind. He said he could get it done the next day after being emailed the files and would send me a price for the work before printing. Neither of these happened, no email to check price and it wasn't till the end of the week they were done. I again asked, how much it would cost, no reply. I popped in to find out that everything had been printed as four sets of one sided, not two sets of two. Should I have been more specific in my email pitching it? Definitely. However I didn't think I would need to because as highlighted the guy owning the place was going to email me about price which would highlight if he thought he meant one sided based on the higher price. When I try to explain this he just shouts me down, saying how it is "industry standard" to do 1-sided then when I tell him if I didn't specify either 1/2 sided it is up to him to check but he constantly interupts me after I've listened to him on his rationale. Worked in customer service for years, I know the customer isn't always right but you at least let them explain their reasoning and ther business keeps its word. Shame, I really want to support local but Copy Shop in town get stuff done fast, professionally and are always super lovely. Which they manage to do during fringe which is a hell of a lot more stressful and busy. P.S. I wrote this hour three hours ago and CopyShop have now just confirmed the printing is done, dusted and ready to pick-up with a clear line of communication and professionalism. Don't take the risk, use them.”
