“I took the wheel throwing double workshop with James during my travels. I loved it so much, I ended up taking the kurinuki vessel carving workshop too. James was kind and extremely patient teaching me as it was my first time doing pottery. He understood my situation being on vacation, was very accommodating and flexible to work with. “I am so happy I found this studio! I took the intermediate course coming already with some prior experience and wanting to improve my technique. James is very nice, flexible and a great teacher. He adapted his teaching to my skill level and, through demonstrations, observing what I did and pointing out things that could be improved as well as explaining why, helped me feel more confident and increase my skill level. The classes have a maximum of 3 students at a time and I also had some one-to-one classes, so James has time to devote to individual people. The studio is small, but really cute and has everything one needs to make some nice creations! Pottery is a great hobby to have in this is a great studio to do it! I fully recommend it!”
