“Me and mum found ourselves at the Salters Inn on a fairly sunny Saturday afternoon meeting up with family and friends for the live band. The band was set up outside above the outdoor tables and chairs. They were really good. We had a few drinks, then we ordered food. Mum had steak, I had a cheeseburger. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her slab of meat, mine was equally good. The prices for the food were very reasonable. Unfortunately we had a wee summer thunder ⛈️ shower but the staff quickly put up umbrellas and the show went on. Was a lovely afternoon, mum enjoyed herself, good food, good company, laughs and good music. 5/5 🖖”

“By chance we found the Salters inn on our short stay in Dalkeith. We had the sizzler's platter and it was so good. Really friendly staff, very accommodating. Nice garden to eat and sit. Loved it and hope to come back someday!”
