“I had a very disappointing experience with Barton Pharmacy. I booked a travel vaccination appointment and was given a slot almost three weeks away because they claimed to be “extremely busy” and they charged £20 deposit. However, when I called to cancel the appointment a full 7 days in advance, then I was told that my deposit would not be refunded because “many people cancel and the slots remain unbooked.” This is a ridiculous argument — you cannot claim to be “extremely busy” and fully booked, and in the same breath say that my cancelled slot won’t be rebooked. 7 days it is way enough time to rebook an available slot, especially if you are "extremely busy". The whole situation gave me the impression that this place is dishonest and does not act in good faith. I would recommend to avoiding this Pharmacy.”
