“I went in today at 15:35 with my friend and we were planning to by some chocolate, my friend had the right amount of money but it had a little bit on chocolate on it for earlier. The first thing he overcharged us then said he wouldn’t take our money because of the “muck” so we left the shop. After that I found 1 pound (clean) in my pocket, turned to go back in and realised he was closing up 20 mins early!!! Terrible service, won’t be going back, better and bigger one 5 mins down the road!!”

“Our local newsagents. Lovely friendly and helpful owner and staff. A very wide selection of newspapers with ample stock. Unlikely to completely sell out of the newspaper you want (even by late afternoon) unlike the supermarkets who only have a handful of copies of each paper. Good prices. Nice fresh morning rolls. Sells bacon and milk. Wide selection of sweets. Great choice of magazines and cigarettes. So helpful and welcoming. Nice to chat to. A proper local institution.”
