“Tried the chicken pie and the pepperoni roll — both were excellent quality. They weren’t terribly hot, but that didn’t bother me much. The chicken pie was the standout for me (9/10), really tasty and satisfying. The pepperoni roll was still good, just slightly less delicious in comparison (7/10). The shop itself looks lovely — very traditional and inviting. I would definitely return based on the food alone. My only small criticism is that the service could have been a bit warmer at first. The young guy serving — possibly the owner, maybe with an Aussie accent — seemed a little reserved initially. I wasn’t totally sure what I was ordering and couldn’t clearly see all the options, and not everyone is familiar with Scottish pies and rolls. A quick walkthrough of what was available would have made a big difference and likely turned this into a 5-star visit. To be fair, he did warm up by the second minute of our short interaction.
