“My dad booked my sister and I into one of John’s wheel throwing workshops after having a great experience there himself. Admittedly I was apprehensive about the level of skill and patience required for pottery. John was a very thorough yet calm teacher, creating an immediate relaxed and casual atmosphere. He gladly helped my (many!) mishaps with the clay and I came away with 2 handmade pieces I was somewhat proud of. If the wheel throwing class isn’t quite your vibe, John’s studio is home to some wonderful creations which I’d recommend going along to buy gifts and treats for yourself. Great work John, if I don’t see you back for more pottery classes I’ll certainly be back to the shop to purchase some of your creations. I can’t wait to see what you come out with next.”

“Really amazing shop! Love how beautiful it looks newly renovated and designed to the way John wanted it. We had a lovely chat with him in the shop about it all and were very impressed with all of his ceramics on display. John is really great teacher, very clear, well organised and giving tips customed to each one of us ! Posted some of the pots I made in class and got to experiment with the beautiful glazes he possess. Also bought a great mug, his creation that is a great gift !
